Typha minima
The smallest of the cattail varieties, this one is perfect for the container pond or small watergarden. A true miniature that grows to just 18", it features petite, round catkins and attractive blue-green foliage.
Note: Do not cut or submerge cattail foliage below the water to overwinter.
Native to North America and many parts of the world.
Habit/ Height: Vetical to 18".
Water depth: 0-3" over the soil.
Light: Full to parial sun.
Bloom: Summer.
Flower color: Brown (catkin).
