Fiber Optic Light Kit-8 Light Kit
A nighttime paradise - right in your own backyard.Put light in places never before thought possible. Shallow stream beds, uplit marginal plants, beautifully illuminated water lilies ... all made possible with the first fiber optic lighting kit designed specifically for ponds and water features. Fiber Optic lighting has numerous advantages over traditional electric lighting systems, including:
•Multiple, pen cap-sized end points of light are illuminated by one bulb and are easy to hide.
•Safe - no heat or electricity travels through the fibers.
•The light source may be positioned in a remote location away from the light output, allowing easy access to the source for lamp changes.
•Rotating 8 position color wheel can be controlled remotely (optional) and can be left on a single color (or white).
Fixtures attached to the end of the cables can be placed underwater, next to the water, in between rocks, or almost anywhere in or out of the pond - you can even illuminate trees and pondside plantings.
Kit includes:
Light projector (illuminator, which is approximately 15" x 17" and can be partially buried), pre-cut and harnessed fiber optic cable assembly, 8 light fixtures, and full installation, maintenance manual.
The illuminator has a 250 watt halogen bulb rated for 700 hours , and an 8 position color wheel. Also included are 2 - 10' cables, 2 - 12' cables and 4 - 20' cables. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
