Foam Sealant
This minimal expansion black foam contains carbon for long-lasting color and durability. Maximum yield of foam at any angle makes this product much easier to apply than other varieties.
For the best results: Clean and dry the area to which the foam is to be applied, hold the can upside down and apply to spaces at 40% (or higher) relative humidity and air temperatures between 60° and 100° F (16° -38° C).
To Use:
1. Attach the straw to the adapter and carefully screw the trigger assembly to the valve. 2. SHAKE WELL for 30 seconds, then hold can upright and squeeze trigger until the foam begins to dispense. 3. Fill the area to be sealed no more than 1/3 full to allow room for the foam to expand. The foam will continue to dispense for a few seconds after the trigger has been released, so make sure to move the straw around to reduce the possibility of overfilling. 4. Foam is tack-free in 30 minutes and may be trimmed, sanded, caulked or plastered in one hour.
Warning: This foam bonds to skin quite well, and while it will not cause health problems, it generally cannot be washed off - the best thing to do is to wear rubber or latex gloves while applying or wash off any foam before it cures. After the foam cures, it will need to wear off of your skin on its own.
The same can may be restarted for three weeks - just trim off the straw to remove the cured foam, shake well, and apply as directed.
