Nymphaea 'Helvola'
The smallest waterlily available, a true minature relative to other varieties. Petite yellow flowers that float on the surface are borne in profusion amongst green leaves heavily mottled in dark purple. Performs best when allowed to establish 2-3 seasons. This plant is ideal for any small water garden and does well in lower light conditions. Flowers open a little later and close slightly earlier than other varieties.
Hybridized by Marliac in 1879. Very free flowering.
