Melafix 64 oz
Melafix is an all-natural medication that is an effective antibacterial remedy for pond fish.
Rapidly repairs damanged fins.
Treats fin and tail rot.
Use when introducing new fish.
Safe for aquatic plants.
Will NOT affect the biological filter or alter the pH of the pond.
Use with Pimafix to treat bacterial infections.
One 16 oz bottle treats up to 19,000 gallons of pond water or a 3,900 gallon pond for 7 days.
Directions for use: Shake well before using. Remove activated carbon and turn off UV and ozone producing units during treatment. Your filter and pump may continue to operate.
For recent wounds, fin damage, or infection: add 1 teaspoonful for every 50 gallons or 1/4 cupful for every 600 gallons of pond water.
When treating advanced or chronic infection: add 2 teaspoonfuls for every 50 gallons or 1/4 cupful for every 300 gallons of pond water.
In both cases dose daily for seven days.
When adding new fish to the pond or when netting or handling fish: add 1 teasponnful for every 50 gallons or 1/4 cupful for every 600 gallons of pond water. Repeat dose for three days.

Note: A slight foaming may occur during the treatment when exposed to elevated temperatures. This product may turn cloudy in the bottle, this does not effect the activity of the product.
