Pretty flowers produced over a long season and beautifully textured foliage make this plant a dependable performer at the water garden edge. Leaves and rhizome have a "garlic" scent, but the pretty lavender flowers have a "sweet" scent. Prefers to grow with wet soil above the water line. Ideal for Island Planters Native to South Africa.
