Nymphoides cristata
Floating-leaf bog plant with small leaves beautifully variegated in burgundy. Small white, snowflake-like flowers "float" just over the foliage, providing an overall beautiful look. It stays somewhat compact making it great for container and smaller ponds. It looks great from a distance so it even works visually in larger settings. It reproduces from viviparous leaves and does not have horizontallly spreading roots.
Native to most Tropical regions of the world.
